Who am I?

I am McTwistie. I am a senior computer system analyst - Working on Application images and Desktop SOE systems. It means I know a lot about All versions of desktop windows and administation systems like Zenworks and SCCM. I also have file recovery as a hobby.

I have been gaming since I can remember, being a Dungeon Master at school. and playing MUDS via a UQ backdoor that took 9 months to close. I was involved on the POWERUP dial-up system when we were all playing Quake CTF in Brisbane. From there a guy called Terminator and I started a LAN, and a Quake Clan - REGEN.

Regen grew to big one of the biggest lans in the southern hemisphere, and it eventually turned into the QGL -Queensland Gamers league. But that was shortly after I left - 12 years ago now.

I have played quite a few MMO's over the years such as DAOC, Anarchy online, Warhammer, DDO and Age of Conan - but always avoided WOW as I did not want to get TOO hooked. Rift has taken care of THAT now.....

I am a solid gamer, but my time online can be erratic. I have to plan ahead if I am going to be gaming for extended periods. I have been partying online in RIFT with BILL (Maelstromme), and this seems like a good spot to lay my hat. I hope to do plenty of raiding with you all.
