Hi there.

I've been directed here from the Sister Julie podcasts which I've just recently started listening to, and a good listen they are indeed.

Basically I'm at a crossroads as to what to play/get into and wanted to join a more mature group to get involved with and hopefully help me decide what I should and should not be spending my time on. So I'd like to join TOG for those reasons. I have a good group of friends already who I play regularly with on a variety of games, but I find myself online a lot more than my group and would like to expand a bit.

I first started gaming on the good old ZX 48, it was a hand me down from my uncle, and we got so much use out of it, we blew the power lead twice, and my brother and I were upgraded the next Christmas with the 128k (joy).
I still have a bunch of the old tape games in a draw here.

As for now, I am currently looking to try something MMO. I've played a range of games from Neocron, to Planetside, a bit of EVE, Lord of the Rings Online, Guild Wars and a variety of general multiplayer games and mods with friends.

Myself. I'm 28 and getting close enough to 30 to be considering my choices in life so far hah. I have a lot of friends settling down and have yet to manage it personally.

I run bars for a living and am looking to move cities when I can as the pond aint big enough here anymore.

I generally like to use Mumble/Teamspeak/Vent when playing and my pc is upto date enough to handle most things comfortably.
Live in the UK and have a "Hard to understand accent" for most people across the pond.

And that's it really.
Thanks.
