Hello,
I'm looking for adults to game with as it seems I keep finding kids. Yes they are the future and all, but it doesn't mean I want to game with them.
I currently play LOTRO creep side. I no longer find enjoyment in LOTRO PVE, but maybe I just haven't found the right group... I'm not sure. I have been playing since open beta but only have one character at 65 (I don't know how I made it that far). I love creeping as there is no grind aside from maps. I can just go out there and play. I'm willing to create a new creep and get all of my maps on the server where TOG plays assuming that there is an active tribe. By "active" I mean at least a few nights a week where there are enough on for a small mobile group. If TOG regularly freeps in the moors on a server where I can transfer a character, I would consider transferring a 65 minstrel if I thought it'd be a good fit.
I hope to get back into Guild Wars if my schedule will allow it. I've only solo'd in GW up to this point, and my highest character is 19. I want to be able to group with TOG when GW2 rolls out, which I hope is some time this decade. I suspect that will be the best mmo for at least a few years.
I've been working 60-70 hours a week, and I spend about 16 hours a week commuting, so it's been tough finding gaming time. I expect to have more free time soon enough, or I will end up losing what little sanity I have left. lol
I'm a *VERY* private person and do not like to give out personal info about myself in mmos, so you likely won't see anything personal from me, but I do meet your age requirement. I am female and have found it to be better to not offer my personal info in gaming environments.
Why do I want to join TOG? I'd like to group and socialize with adults who aren't focused on e-peens, who realize that there is a real person behind each character, and who realize that "real life" always always always comes first. Playing a video game shouldn't have to turn into a second job.
On a side note, while hunting for a GW guild I saw a post from someone saying his/her guild would consider, among other things, references for an applicant. Yes, references. I could only laugh.
Thanks for reading!
