Hi there Older Gamers

Decided it's about time I joined, don't know why I took so long but better late than never.

I'm a 37 year old married father of 2 who enjoys playing MMO's

I started gaming as a kid playing consoles like Colecovision (Zaxxon) Atari 2600 (the game where you flew around as a plane or ran a maze as a tank was my favorite, can't remember the name). Also played friends Commodore 64 games, owned an Amiga 2600 (my first computer) and have owned several consoles over the years including N64 PS2 and PS3, and various PC's over the last dozen or so years.

MMO's I have played include Everquest on and off for about 10 years, WoW for a few months, and then back to Everquest to try out the new Time locked progression servers.

I tend to be a one game at a time guy, typically focusing solely on a single game for months or even years at a time, currently my focus is on Rift.

Why do I want to join?

The idea of a large community of more mature gamers appeals to me for obvious reasons, one of the biggest turn offs of WoW was the immaturity of many players so I'm hoping to avoid that in Rift.

I am currently playing on Wolfsbane Defiant side my main character is Janos who is a 50 (recently dinged) mage, preferred role is Chloromancer healing, I love main healing whenever I get the opportunity, have main healed all the instances as I was levelling from IT through to LH, haven't had the opportunity to main heal anything higher yet though. I also play necro/warlock for levelling/soloing and a Pyromancer/Warlock for dps.

Alts include;
34 Warrior - has tanking role and dps role.
32 Rogue - has tank, dps and bard roles
31 Cleric - has Inq/cab solo role and Sent/Pur heal role

Thats a brief run down of my gaming history and what I am currently doing, hoping to join the Wolfsbane Defiant guild at some point in the near future, I would like to be able to run regular dungeons and also raid if that is what the guild moves into in the future.
