Hi all,
I'm 41 years old and I've been into gaming for a long time now. I had an Atari 2600 console back in the day but my real intro to computer gaming was on an Apple IIe. More recently (past 12 years or so), I've run the gamut through the MMO's Everquest 1 & 2, World War 2 Online, Star Wars Galaxies, Eve Online... and the FPS's BF1942, BF2 and BF:BC2.

I joined my first gaming guild in EQ2 (TRG is their Tag) and followed them through many of the other games on this list, but as of late their numbers have been dwindling (and the average ages seem to be getting younger and younger) and I find myself yearning for the golden days when I could always find players to group with online.

I've been away from MMO's and online gaming for about a year and a half now (since I cancelled my Eve account) and recently the itch bit me again. I purchased Rift and joined a server and have been having a blast... bringing back the feelings of a new adventure that I remember from EQ2 and SWG. Unfortunately, it feels empty without a good bunch to run with; that's when I stumbled across TOG's web site. It looks like you guys fit my bill when looking for an online community and I can't wait to see if it will be true.
