I would like to request full membership to TOG. I am an active gamer in my 50's who started out playing Rainbow Six on a 486 machine using a 14.4k modem. Needless to say I died I LOT. hehe

I left RB6 when EQ rolled out and stayed there until WoW came around. It proved to be populated with too many people who didn't share the same goals and/or maturity level that I had so I left after a couple of years. I've played many mmo's including Warhammer, Star Wars Galaxy, Dark Age of Camelot, STO, Conan, Aion, Eve Online, Lotro and EQ2. I left EQ2 and came to Rift because my old guildies left and came here also. Sadly, they all split and went to different shards, so I decided to join Wolfsbane since my wife joined her guildies on Wolfsbane.

I've been playing Rift since beta and love the game. I've always been mostly a solo player but I really am missing the company of a good group of folks who want to work together and have fun doing it. My wife is in a guild who places the most importance on uber gear and there is not a lot of interaction between guildies on a personal basis. To me, that's missing the point of a guild. There's nothing wrong with uber gear, but the guild and it's members come first, in my opinion. It's all about having good folks around and having a good time with them to me.

The reason I want to join TOG is because all the members I've ever had dealings with in which ever game it was in handled themselves in such a way that they not only shed a positive light upon themselves, but to the guild also. I really think I could make a good addition to your ranks because not only am I willing to help out as needed, but I can occasionally tell a bad joke or two. <grins>

I'll leave it at that and if you have any questions you'd like to ask of me, feel free. Like I said, I am on the Wolfsbane shard and am running my Guardian rogue up to 50 (he's 45 atm) whose name is Delmar. I'm on everyday and am looking forward to hearing from you.
