[DONE] Introduction Thread

Hi all,

This is my intro thread to apply for full membership.

I saw your guild running actively on my Rift server, Guardian/Tearfall and noticed that basically you guys are the only ones doing anything in the timeslot that I play in (mostly after 10 or so at night during the week or sporadically on the weekends)

So basically, I want to play Rift with you guys to answer the first question of what games I'd like to play with TOG.

Probably the first games I played on a digital system was on my Atari when I was a young bloke at about 12 or 13 or so - I had an Atari 2600 and it was awesome I especially loved all the classics like Pitfall, F14, Outrun, River Raid and Asteroids. As for pen and paper I never really played D&D but I did buy and own Heroes Quest the board game, the expansion packs and between a couple of mates and myself, we made up some new missions and new items (probably my first 'modding' experience with games)

I basically want to join TOG in order to enjoy Rift with a group of adult gamers in the Aussie timeslot. It is _so_ difficult to find good Aussie guilds with people who are relaxed and like to play the game properly, as well as enjoy the content the way it's intended to be played. One of the other guys I play with, Andrew (character is Vagbat in Rift) has already joined you and advised me that your group is exactly what we look for in MMO's.

A little about me to finish up. I enjoy gaming (obviously) and sports - they're my two passions. I work as a PHP software developer on a large scale application billing platform in Melbourne CBD and live in St Kilda with my partner. I'm pretty laid back and easy to talk to and enjoy a good group of people to game with. I also play a fair bit of Xbox 360 and own a PS3 but don't really play it much (it takes pride of place as the house BluRay player)
