Hello TOG,

I saw your private group on Steam and would like to join. I am new to the PC platform, but no where near new to gaming.

1. I play mostly FPS games. Currently I am playing Black Ops & BF: BC2. I have pre-ordered Brink, and would love to meet up with some fellow "older gamers" to enjoy it without the hassles that come with playing with kids.
   
2. The first machine I owned...wow thats a tough one to remember. I guess it would have to be the Odyssey 100 (pong rocked). Then, I believe I had and atari console, but it wasn't until NES that I was really hooked. I have had every major console since then. Recently I have mad a major shift to PC and LOVE IT!!! I just haven't formed any type of community connections yet, since all my friends are on the 360. I'm just not very happy with the overall community of online console gamers. I'm hoping TOG will be an avenue to a more mature group to play with.
   
3. I am a 38 yr old gamer, with a wife, 3 kids, and a career. I am looking to form a connection with other gamers that I can find common ground with. I am hoping that TOG will accept me, and offer me the opportunity to connect with others like me.
   
4. About me...well, as mentioned before, I am 38, married, and the father of 3 beautiful kids. I work full time, and have returned to college to complete my degree (I will graduate in less than a year). Gaming has been a major hobby of mine for as long as I can remember. I do not get to play nearly as much now as I used to though, I am sure most of you can relate. I am pretty laid back, and not uber competative, but I do like to play (respectfully) as a team to win.

I live in Columbia, South Carolina (EST). I play briefly in the evenings Mon. - Thurs., and do my heavy gaming late Fri. & Sat. night after the kids, and wife, have gone to bed.
