Greetings! I'd like to apply for membership, with the immediate ambition of joining the TOG guild in Rift, on the Defiant side of the Wolfsbane server. I'm also currently subscribed to WoW (Horde side, Shadowsong server), but I've played that off and on since the game launched and am winding down my time there.

So, gaming history...bypassing those early experiences playing Parcheesi and Go Fish, I played one of the early editions of Dungeons & Dragons back around 1979. A few years later we got, at considerable expense, a glorious Apple //e, and many hours of Wizardry, Zork, and self-programmed games in BASIC ensued.

Leaping forward to the modern online era, I had a long stint in Dark Age of Camelot (loved that Hibernia random name generator that gave you melodious Celtic names like Caoimbleagh), some beta and post-launch participation in Star Wars Galaxies, and then a long-running WoW account as I've mentioned. On the non-RPG side, I've long been a fan of Starcraft, most Bethesda Softworks games, and various strategy titles (Total War, Civ 5, et. al.).

I haven't actually met anyone in TOG in Rift yet, but I like your group's philosophy, and I've been in enough MMO guilds to have a pretty good sense of whether one will be a good fit.

As far as other skills go, I can make a hand-cut dovetail joint, and I write palindromes from time to time: "Six at one bar? Oops, poor Abe, no taxis." (read the spelling forwards and then backwards.) I'm in the U.S. Pacific time zone.
