Hello TOG peoples, my name (as you know), is Chris, and I am a kiwi living (at the moment), in Perth, Western Australia. I am a games maniack, I have been playing pc games sine the days of the pc10 dos systems using 51/2" diskettes. Something about gaming triggers the imagination, allowing us to travel to amasing and dangerous (sometimes) places and discover wonderful new things and combinations/puzzles that are so much fun. Coming from a poorer family, I have just invested in my first "decent" gaming pc, and have always looked at people with clan names in brackets as belonging to an unobtainable "Elite" of gamer who have double digit pings and quadrouple digit reflexes. I have decided to take the plunge and apply to join the ranks, I thing TOG is the perfect clan, because I relate to your core values, and am "of age" Lol.
I find joy in playing almost all genres of games, but not so much the "sport" games eg football. I am a fps and strategy fan, and have about 100 games in my collection at the moment, and I have sold my first collection a few years back (regretfully).
I will be playing Battlefield BC2 and (eventually), Battlefield 3. I also clock up heaps of hours on Civ 5. I will play more games as I install them on my new pc (Yay!)
I want to grow and expand my knowledge and participate in a decent, productive, honest manner, and I hope that TOG will take me under thier wing(s) and allow me to do that.
