Thank you, Markan, for clearing that up for me. It truly is appreciated.

Here is my application:
What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG?
I have a slew of games I play. I am currently immersed in Rift, but I also play L4D1 & 2, BFBC, COD:MW2, LoL, Borderlands, HL2DM (watch out for my grenade toss!), TF2.
Non multi player games number a lot as well: Poker Night at the Inventory, World of Goo, All the Half-Life games, Audiosurf, both Bioshocks, Fallout 3, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City, Mass Effect 1 & 2 and a mot of Indie games. I am often a Beta tester but I won't say if I am currently working on any as per my agreement with the game devs.
What was the first machine you played games on or pen and paper game you played?
First of all my step-father worked at NORAD when I was a kid, though I only knew it as Cheyenne mountain then, and he was one of their computer guys back then. That being said, I have
always been around computers. (here's the part to please stifle all giggles please) When I first REALLY became immersed into gaming, I played on a local BBS and used a smart modem, keyboard and monochrome monitor. No memory whatsoever. I remember to this day needing to type in my ATDT command before dialing my number and playing. I played MajorMud as my first REAL online game. In fact, I played so much that I eventually had my character turned into an NPC in the game after winning a contest!
Why do you want to join TOG?
I have played with a few of your members already and really enjoyed the conversation of another mature player. I was encouraged to come over here and check things out.
Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share.
I am pushing 40 and married to my wonderful husband, whom I met on that same BBS I started playing on. I have a wonderfully amazing daughter who gave me my first grandson this past year!

I am also disabled. I am enjoying playing as long as I can, which I hope is going to be for a long time. I have good days, and bad, but playing helps keep my mind off of pain most of the time. I play from a recliner with my keyboard in my lap and my mouse on a Goliath mousepad over the arm of my chair.
I won't say I am the best player around as I am far from it. I can generally hold my own and after enough practice I usually develop a few good moves - like my grenades in HL2DM!
Another thing to note about me, especially if you are in Vent or another voice program with me, I run a parrot rescue. I am co-founder of a non-profit 501(c)3 exotic bird rescue. We are a non-profit, no-kill, non-breeding and Christian run rescue. Basically, we are a humane society for parrots. I am also a behaviorist. Our org runs out of a network of foster homes. Currently I have 18 birds in my home, so if it sounds like I am killing small children in my background, or a particularly loud squawk bursts your eardrum(s), that's the reason why
I reside in the beautiful state of Washington. No, it does not always rain where I live
I am on the desert side of the state.
If there is anything anyone wants to know about me, please do not hesitate to ask. If it's something I don't want to talk about, I will tell you, but I am pretty open. Lastly, there are three things that piss me off more than anything, and that is a liar, a cheat or a thief. As long as you don't fall into one of those groups we'll get along fine!
