Hi there Ladies and Gentlemen of TheOlderGamers.com,
My name is Brian and I'm 30 years old. I'm currently living in Jonesboro, Arkansas attending college for my BA in criminology. I'm a 8 year Navy Veteran going back to school in hopes of getting into law enforcement in the next couple of years. I've always had a strong desire to work in civil service fields. There's always something fufilling about feeling like you're making a difference in your community. I'm married to my beautiful wife, Ashley and we're going on 4 years together. We don't have any kids, since I'm not really a kid person. (I know, I know....I'm an ogre.

)
Anyhow, I saw ToG on the guilder finder on World of Warcraft and thought your guild and I would make a great match. After reading through your FAQ, I'm nearly certain of it. You guys and gals sound like my type of people.
I love video games, computers, pen and paper games, but I'm just not as good at them as I use to be. I find it a lot harder to play with the younger folk, I just can't keep up with them.
That's why I'm looking for some similiar minded folk to play with. I'm currently playing WoW and I'm usually a one game at a time kind of guy, but I'm really interested in Star Wars and Warhammer 40K when they come out.
I've always been a gamer and first started playing games on my Apple IIe when I was 10 years old along with my atari, until I got my revolutionary 8-bit nintendo in 1989. The first game I really played on there was Dragon Warrior and let me tell you after that I was hooked on RPGs.
I'm a huge D&D pen and paper fan, but haven't had the opprotunity to play D&D in several years. I actually really miss it. There was nothing like sitting around a table with a few good friends and rolling the dice. But, now MMOs are the big thing and I've learned to enjoy them.
Haha, sorry, I feel like I'm rambling on hear. Anyhow, I hope you folk see it fitting for me to join you, because I'd really enjoy playing with some people that have good values and developed some virtues that really only come with age.
Either way, it's good to know that TheOlderGamers.com exist. I appreciate you taking the time to look over my application and I look forward to hearing fromy ou folk soon.
Respectfully,
Brian Simmers (Faulkner - Runetotem)
