Hi all

Well, I'd like to become a full member of this group, and hopefully enjoy some online play with a maturer and more respectful and relaxed crowd.

I am in my 40's and play a lot of strategy games (HoI series and pretty much anything by Paradox) and enjoy more tactical games such as the Combat Mission series as well as mixes such a the Total War series.

Online, I play EVE and LOTRO, and am hoping to join a clan in World of Tanks (so far worked up to tier VII tanks).

I was a bit of a late starter when it comes to computer games - completely missed out on the early consoles, or commodore type things. My first PC was an Olivetti with a massive 4mb ram. My first game was Doom then Civilization - still play that to this day. Probably the original UFO Enemy Unknown is still my all time fav game.

Started gaming way back when - boards game such as Diplomacy, then paper and pen D and D (still play with a group regularly) and Rolemaster.

I'm based in Sheffield, UK. Usually play most nights, unless I'm away for work (which is unfortunately pretty regular). In the end, I play to relax and to have fun with friends. I'll work hard for a team, but not to the extent that the game becomes a second job - have enough of that hassle in RL!

Well, I hope you'll consider my application, and I hope to meet some of you in the cold depths of space (EVE) or maybe in World of Tanks, if any of you have a clan with space for another stock Tiger or T34-85.
