Hey folks,
Stumbled onto your community while perusing the guilds over at Star Wars: Old Republic. This actually sounds like my kind of place. What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG? Star Wars: Old Republic. Already submitted an app to your guild over there. What was the first machine you played on or pen and paper game you played? The very first pc was an IBM Compact (if I recall correctly). My second gaming machine was a C64, lol. I still have some fond memories of that Commodore. Pen and Paer? Oh let's see...AD&D 1st Edition. I think my all time favorite table top rpg has to be Rifts, though. Or maybe Call of Cthulu. Paranoia? Heh, I can't decide. I had alot of fun with all of them. In fact, I still have a couple of boxes full of rpg books out in the garage! Unfortunately they've gotten kinda damp and moldy over the years, but I just can't toss them out. Why do you want to join TOG? I prefer rolling with older gamers. I'm 35. Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share: I like pie. 'Nuff said. Further information: I've been a WoW addict since vanilla. Currently doing some light end-game main tanking in bot and bwd while waiting for Firelands to be released. Previously, I was end-game mt heals in wrath and caster deeps in tbc. Just kinda messed around leveling alts and instancing in vanilla. Gotta say that I don't care for the direction that WoW has taken with these last two expansions. I really do have a love/hate relationship with WoW. The other mmo's I've tried just don't seem to hold my attention for too long. I was in on the WAR beta and played only a short while after release. I've played EvE for about a year. Tried DDO, CoH, STO, EQ (back in the day), and several other games, but nothing quite has that magic bullet. I'm hoping that SWTOR will be the game that I've been looking for. Something that's truly enjoyable and is able to lure me away from the infinite grinding loop that WoW has become. And maybe I'll find some good folks to run with, too.  |
