[DONE] Hello Folks

I somehow managed to avoid getting hooked on games until the 90s. Then one day, I picked up a copy of Civilization 2 while shopping for some other software. I don't think I slept for the next forty-eight hours, and then I dreamt about the game. Just one more turn. After that I enjoyed a steady stream of strategy and role-playing computer games, playing single-player only until I started Everquest. I played it and other MMORPGs casually until I jumped to WoW, which I've played both casually and seriously in a progressive raiding guild.

Right now, I'm just getting back to gaming, having recently been able to free up some time. I'm currently working my way through a backlog of past titles I never got around to finishing, thanks to STEAM and GOG. Mostly, I'm interesting in finding a MMORG group for PvE and occasional PvP. I have a very flexible schedule. I'm most experienced at healing, and have often been a guild officer and raid leader, but I can play any class and fill any position without getting antsy.

I'm checking out TOG because I've lost patience with the attitude of so many young players as described in your FAQ. I want to hang out and have fun, but no longer feel the need to be so aggressive about it.

My favourite gaming memories are some spectacular wipes with less than 1% remaining on the bosses health bar. I also enjoyed it when we'd strip off our gear and try naked dungeons, city raids, and battlegrounds. My biggest gaming regret is that I've never ascended in NetHack. One day.
