I'm not anywhere near a hard core gamer. Since I was a kid I've always enjoyed playing games (started on the old one stick, one button Atari 2600) but as I got older it was more about the story than the challenge for me. Because of my game preferences it's a bit tough for me to really get into a lot of games but when I do get into a game I typically jump in both feet.

I spent about 5 years playing Star Wars Galaxies and really enjoyed it for about the first 3 but once you've played nearly every proffesion and done almost all of the content there really isn't any draw to staying around. The big reason I did stay around for as long as I did was because I enjoyed hanging out with, helping and running instances with the people in our guild.

In SWG I was an officer in a guild called MOB (Mean Old Bastards, though only a few of us were really mean ). I was also admin in several cities across the galaxy. Since I played every proffesion, leveled 10 toons to 90 and was the guild space guru I tended to spend a lot of my in game time helping people with various aspects.

A big reason TOG caught my eye was because of the age requirment. I've tried a few different Kin's in LOTRO but none of them seemed to be the right fit. I'm looking for more of a community to join than just a group of people who do little more than brag about the cool new gear they got and ignore questions from all but a few of the people who have been there for a long time. That's the big thing I liked about MOB, sure we bragged about stuff and enjoyed killing each other and talked a bit of trash here and there, but for the most part the guild was all about everyone enjoying the game however they wanted to enjoy it and having a community of members with integrity who are willing to help each other out.

That's what I'm hoping to find here.

I'll likely be in game for most of the day (elindimer) so if anyone wants to chat with me I should be on Mijela or Mijrond my main toon is Mij but he's a level 42 guardian that just isn't much fun to play (All of my toons are typically named Mijxxxx)
