[DONE] Hopeful new applicant

Greetings!

I'm absolutely thrilled to have found a group of mature gamers and hope that you will consider my application.

The game I would like to join TOG in is Lord of the Rings Online, although when Guild Wars 2 is released, I'll make a serious bid to be included there as well...

The first machine I played games on? Gosh...probably the Galaga arcade machine at the local mini-golf club when I was in high school. I did commandeer my cousin's Atari whenever I visited, however. Space Invaders - couldn't get enough of it. I also bought the red boxed set of Dungeons & Dragons, but couldn't quite wrap my head around the fact that it was meant to be a social game. I rolled a character, then took her to the very first keep...and dutifully killed everyone there and stole all of their gear. How I managed to have her carry around 200 suits of plate armor, I'll never know. I was young. My school chums quickly disabused me of those notions and we started playing as a group. I still wasn't very good, but I was enthusiastic and a girl, so they let me continue.

I'd like to join TOG in order to become a part of the Osgiliath Guard in LotRO. They seem like a great group of individuals and I'd very much like to be a part of their kinship. I've already tried one kin that blind invited me and wow. I'd forgotten what it was like to group up with 15 year olds. I'm certainly not opposed to teens (I'd hope not, I'm a high school teacher), but in my spare time I'd rather hang out with peers.

Since I've waited until late Friday night to apply, I don't expect that I'll hear anything for a couple of days and that's perfectly cool. I hope everyone has a lovely weekend and I hope that you guys get around to reading this sometime on Monday.
