Hello my alias in almost everything is Gumbicus

First of all this is a long read because when i start typing what im thinking i seem to push out huge bricks of text, secondly the first, second and last paragraphs are the most major ones in terms to this application but the last one will explain why i felt the need to put the rest in.

I currently play Brink (PC) as far as multiplayer games go, it's almost all i have time for these days lol. Anyway im applying for TOG because i'd like to be able to play this type of game occasionally with other people and in a team environment which in the past has proven much more enjoyable, and TOG seems to have the largest Australian(GMT 10+) presence i've been able to see, regardless of whether you are based in Australia or not.

First machine i can remember playing was some little alien game that had maybe 3 sounds on dads laptop when dad needed to get into his work office after hours to obtain more clients and i could fit through the pigeon hole to unlock the door, other than that sonic on Sega Mega-drive.

Aside from this, most of my time these days has been taken up by full time study and work, i study Monday-Friday at T.A.F.E (Aussie study institution 1 step below uni in terms of certifications), must be there 9-3:30 but im usually there til 5pm sometimes 9pm. We get given courses to do in a week, which uni students have 3 months to do. After that i'll be going to university to major in software design and hopefully do some serious units in Artificial Intelligence Systems.

Aside from study i work at least 1 day of the weekend if not both then do some study and brink is my reward for getting a section done. (I work on a self-managed reward system).

Also im working hard at T.A.F.E because im attempting to create an opportunity to get myself a job there or at least some good items for my resume so i also try and take on a lot of side-jobs which are related to what i've studied in the past but don't count towards my grade in any way.

Anyway i say all this in an attempt to demonstrate i have a similar lifestyle to that depicted on your FAQ, i have more important things to do than gaming and its just a break in which i relax because well, im 23 and even though that's below your age limit, i believe im well and truly past the nerd rage phase i had back in vanilla wow.

I'd love to lie about my age lol but if this is a mature place i believe you guys will show the maturity to either not accept me in order to maintain a persistent standard of your rules or are mature enough to give me a shot if you're willing to believe the lifestyle i posted above.

So, whether or not you accept me, thanks for reading, if i don't get in i spend a lot of my free time on your server (has the best ping for me) so ill probably see you at some point.
