I've been playing games for about... far too long. My first love was Buck Rogers, and then all the Gold Box TSR RPGs. Naturally I developed a love of RPGs, though since Planescape none have really impressed me like those old ones did. I played a few pen & paper RPGs too, AD&D of course, as well as White Wolf's Vampire: The Masquerade.

My first RTS was Dune 2. I spent far too many hours on that game. In the end to break the addiction I had to hex edit my save games to make it too easy. The original Starcraft and Warcraft kept me and my friends and cousins busy all night at many a LAN party. I've played most of the popular RTSs since then, including Starcraft 2 online.

I've recently started playing EVE Online again, after a break of about 3 years. I've played a few different games online over the years, including WoW, and one common irritant has been the immaturity of a significant portion of any reasonably large guild/corps I find myself in. A current member and good friend of mine, Falican, suggested joining TOG, for the more mature players and the Australian representation (I live in Melbourne). So I'd like to join and play EVE with you all, in slightly more mature company than I've had to suffer in the past.
