Hello fellow "oldie" gamers
 This is my application to join your Rift guild, Telaran Old Guard, on the Blightweald (EU) (Guardian Faction). I have come here from the post on the official Rift forums. My gaming history takes me back 25 years, Atari 2600, Spectrum Commodore 64 etc, up to date. My MMO obsessions started in 2004 with Star Wars Galaxies, and then went through, WoW, EQ2, LoTRO, Age of Conan (swapping between them all over the years). Currently Rift is the time sink of choice. 7-8 years of online gaming has meant I have seen a LOT of online humanity, much of it under 25 and not very nice to know. Although kids can be bad, I find that a lot of the most distasteful activities are committed by the 18-24 age group too. I am playing Rift at the moment, and so am looking for a group of guys/gals that I can socialise with online as well as explore a new game for me in greater detail. I am from the North east of UK, and play most evenings and weekends. I work normal office hours during the day. Hopefully I have what it takes for full membership Thank you for reading! |
