Default Application to join

Hullo!

I'd like to join TOG if you'll have me! I became aware of you via The Omen's recruitment thread over on the Perpetuum Online forum. I think TOG and I would be a great fit, and here's some info about myself to explain why.

I'm in my early thirties and live with my partner and our two young children; therefore my gaming time is limited to evenings (even on weekends). I've been gaming since the Vic 20, and when Ultima Online came out MMORPGs really captured my imagination. However, although I love the social aspect of them I often find it difficult to find decent guilds to join because I prefer the more mature crowds and I don't do the "guild-hopping" thing that many people seem to do.

Currently I'm playing Perpetuum but in all honesty it's just making me want to go back to Eve Online. I'm undecided yet but I notice you guys play both games, so whatever happens I'd like to stick around.

As for my play style; I'm not averse to a limited commitment (playing at least a couple of times a week for example) or helping out fellow guild-mates. Indeed, I prefer to play support roles in pretty much any online game. In Perpetuum or Eve I imagine I'd fill industrial roles primarily. I am obviously willing to use voice comms once the kids are in bed (I'm based in the UK by the way).

What do I want out of TOG? Simply, a mature group of players to game with, who are all for team play and who understand that family must come first. In return I offer dedication to the group and an absolute willingness to put the group's goals above my own where necessary.

So that's it for now! Feel free to ask any questions.
