Greetings and salutations
I'm Adam, a 39 year old Brisbane (Queensland, Australia) local and I play computer games... oh wait - this isn't gamers anonymous right
I have played WoW since vanilla days and am a founding lifetime member with LoTRO. Also dabble a bit (lot) in online and real life poker.
Have recently become jaded with WoW after levelling several toons to 85 and having my old guild change its direction and focus. Getting bored with the grind of dailies I resurrected my old LoTRO account, remortgaged my house and wandered back into Tolkiens world.
When I read about The Osgiliath Guard on the LoTRO forums and then read more about TOG it sounded like a long lost friend. So familiar, recognisable and appealing. There is little point to playing an online mmorpg if you dont enjoy the social aspect of the game. Hard to do solo - much easier within a guild/kin/clan of like-minded people.
If I do resurrect my interest in WoW (likely at some stage) then I would also be open to realm transfers/rerolls to join fellow TOG'rs in Azeroth.
Hopefully I too may be deemed suitable and become one of these like-minded people.
Prepare to be assimilated.
Cheers
Adam
