Greetings
I am a 36 year old married man. I have two kids, one 12, one 3 months (surprise, surprise). Outside of gaming I play a little guitar, I like to cook and bake, and I enjoy baseball watching. I am politically left leaning, and free of the constraints of religion.
I like western RPG's, action/platformers, and shooters. I have no use for sports, racing or party games. My favorite games of all time are Demon's Souls, Half Life 2 trilogy and Bioshock. Currently I'm really into Killzone 3 multiplayer, although the matchmaking issues are getting more and more unbearable every day. Tastes in music are wildly diverse. But generally speaking I like a lot of folk/bluegrass type stuff, obscure punk, soul and R&B, and have really been into thrash metal lately. As a rule, if it's on the radio, it's terrible. I like good movies, but watch very few of them because I think most of them are crap. A few faves are Full Metal Jacket, Big Trouble In Little China, and Rushmore. TV shows I currently enjoy are; Louie, Mad Men, and Parks & Rec. I thought I'd join TOG to see if there was anybody else my age that might have similar interests. It's a long shot I know, but it never hurts to try. |
