[DONE] Membership ToG 2011

Hi, my name is Jen, I'm 40 yrs old. I've been playing MMO's for over 9yrs now. SWG, WoW and now Rift. I'm looking for gamer's my age to make the gaming experience, lessssss.....irritating? haha
I've played console games back when the first Atari was released, have had several different types of consoles, but most currently the Xbox 360 and PS3. List is long on gaming stuffs.
Anyhow, I'm from New Hampshire, USA. Wasn't born here, but reside here. Somehow I got dragged this way (parents, how dare they! hmmph).
I have 3 children, one of which (age 23 in August also) just made Sgt in the Army and will be home from Kuwait in about 4 wks, if he doesn't get to stay 2 more by request. The 2 younger are 16 and 15...can't believe my baby girl is 15!!!!!! Where'd the time go?!! No, srsly, where? I seem to have miss placed it.
Oh, I should warn you guys, I'm a wise butt...sometimes stuff slips before I can catch it, I don't mean any harm, I'm just a wise guy at heart, playful, fun and typically happy.
I was and Officer for a couple of guilds in WoW, I did most of my raiding and what nots in WoW. I kinda miss it, but it's shut down for now. Main focus is Rift atm...not sure I'll be playing anything else. I try to divide my time with my kids and game and well, life in general. With that said, I can be on a lot and suddenly not. But mostly on, haha.
Anyhow, I was on the Guardian side and saw your guildmates everywhere! and thought to myself, name says it all, hopefully these folks are older and a bit more mature than the average (sad to say,) 25 yr old. I noticed the "younger" Gen seems a bit lacking in the manners and a few other areas which makes me nutty. There's a time and a place for fun and I feel that being a bit older, definitely can have a wiser effect if nothing else.
Ok, now I'm just rambling...hate it when I do that =/ Looking forward to the response and acceptance to the guild. I goofed and found a nice guild...via the "guild search" option in the friends list window. It brought up people NOT in the guild...which I didn't know did not function. Soooo, nice group of kids, but I was aiming for you guys. So I'll be needing to leave that guild, the guy I was speaking with knows I "ooops'd" and said it was np if I left to join you folks. With that said....waiting with baited breath...oh additional note....
Iansa was extremely helpful in aiding me with filling this out and navigating this amazing site. So kudos to her? him? Playing it safe by saying both sexes, hahaha!
Ok, really this time I'm done.....waiting to hear!
