I am 46 and have been playing MMo's for about 20 years. I have been looking for a guild that respects people where i can play with people as part of a team who dont just rage quit everytime they dont get the particular item they wanted from one of the bosses in a run, leaving the rest of the group on the hook to find a replacement becasue you were too immature to finish the run and show some respect to the others in the group. Or even worse, getting all pissed at someone who hasnt run the instance so many times that they could do it in their sleep, and kicking people for not being pro level enough players in a pug or becasue of some fluke and the group wipes. I really need to find people that are more mature than the typical gamers of today!!, Who enjoy people and have enough respect that they dont get all agro for some stupid reason. It has gotten so bad that i have seriously contemplated the idea that i am just too old for the MMOs of today, and too old school for the new age attitudes of the rude people in the MMOs today also. I knew there had to be a home for aged gamers like myselves, and then i saw your post in the forums for wolfsbane, so I transferred here in hopes of finding other like-minded mature players to become a part of that team!


I enjoy raiding, but am a casual player if not raiding. BUT, when i am raiding i get serious, come repaired, on time, with consummables, and prepared to listen and learn, and PROGRESS. I play MMOs because i love playing on a team, working through content, and eventually getting the satisfaction of taking a boss down for the first time, and then eventually getting him on farm so we can get others into the run so they can see the content too. If it werent for that, i would just play single player games, but for me, they come up short becasue there is no one to share the little successes with along the way, no one to wipe all night with as we work through strats and eventaully learn the ins and outs of a run/raid. I do get a little OCD about min/maxxing my toons for every oodle of dps possible or top aoe threat generation from my tank to be sure i can keep agro. I take my role seriously and give it my best to perform my role adequately so my team doesnt have to carry me, I always want to carry my own, and work hard to learn what i need to be able to do just that.

I come from a time when we saw the invention of digital gaming, pong, pacman, space invaders on the atari and arcades, dig dug, etc... I remember when the TV in my house was black and white, and the kids in the home WERE the remote control, when we only had 7 channels on a TV (aside from UHF), and where kids played OUTSIDE all day during the summer instead of in front of a computer screen or tv.

I started MMOs with a game called redmoon (played 6 years), then shadowbane (played for 7 years), then wow (played for 7 years), and now rift (since beta 4).

I consider myslef patient, and helpful, but above all else, repsectful of persons and a strong team player.

I hope this fits with your guild culture, from what i read from your website, it does.... i hope you agree
