[DONE] Application for TOG

Hi Everyone,

My name is Ed and I am applying for full membership with TOG. I am 46 years old, live in North America (Minnesota, USA) and I have a 4 grown children and 3 step children who are still at home. My step son (11) often plays a lot of mmo's with me as did my son (2 except back then the games were more "face 2 face" (AD&D, M:TG card game, Call of Cthulhu and many others).

Currently, I am looking for guild membership on Rift, Wolfsbane shard (Defiant). I have seen several of your members around and about and they have all been very friendly (Alanthus gave me the information on where to apply - here).

My toon (Larnot) on RIFT is level 29 and I have only been playing about a week now. I hope to soon be level 50. As stated, I have many years experience in gaming (I had a PONG when it was new!) and I can be a very adept player (if not humble! just kidding!); I played original dungeons and dragons back around 1980-81ish and then again when I was in the US Army 1984-87 while stationed in the Canal Zone of Panama.

The years in between have been filled with many formats of many games. I currently play World of Warcraft (4 or 5 years as Cloquet and 3 other level 85 horde toons on Bronzebeard US server) and just got into Rift. Rift has some serious issues (ie- rendering non combat npc's) but the rest of the game has made up for this inconvenience so far. I really enjoy it.

I am looking for a guild with mature and like minded players who know it's a game, have fun and can pull together and see more game content together than alone.

I didn't realize there was a whole website and organization attached to the guild, but I like the idea and would love to join your community at-large.

ps- I see that many of you are from Austrailia. My available hours are flexible as I am disabled so this shouldn't be a problem if it is a major factor.

Every game is different Larnot, but the one thing that TOG most certainly is, is a global player base.
