Tells us a little about yourself

Hi, my name is Wil or Wil Stryker in game. I've had this name in Eve, TF2 and now with World of tanks.

I've been playing online games for over a decade starting with Freelancer, then Neverwinter nights, Eve Online , TF2 and now World of Tanks.

I'm 34 years old and in my final 6 months in an advanced diploma in network security. I'm applying for full membership as a mate has joined TOG in WoT.

What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG?

I am currently playing World of tanks and the occasional TF2. I do have 1 of 3 active accounts in Eve but that is purely for skill training.

What was the first machine you played games on or pen and paper game you played?

I remember playing the C64 with both the tape deck (used to wait with anticipation of the 30 minute loading time for some games) and then later when the floppy discs were released. Before the C64 I had the Atari and an Intellivision.

Why do you want to join TOG?

Want to play world of tanks with other people instead of solo'ing most of the time.

What is your geographical location and the times that you play?

I am an aussie so Australian prime time is when I'm usually on. As a student I am active during the day as well.

What type of tanks do you drive ?

German - tier 9 heavy - tier 8 medium - tier 6 arty - tier 8 TD
Russian - tier 7 heavy - tier 7 medium - tier 5 TD

After you have full TOG membership you can then apply for access to the TOG Power channel in EVE which wil give you access to more EVE forums and also to the TS channel details. We are a happy bunch of guys and girls and love to laugh and fight.. online that is..

We are on TS most of the time and we have a mentor program for new pilots to help them past the massive learning curve that is EVE. There is plenty of info online HERE for new members and there are a number of older players who are more than willing to answer any questions so if you want the next big MMO come check out the TOGE EVE Division.

I doubt I will return to Eve any time in the near future. The trailers CCP develop to show their flagship game fail when an attemp to simulate the action in game is done.

I have played Eve for almost 6 years, have an Aeon and almost an Avatar (left before I bought one) and I am disillusioned with the game. When CCP can fix some major issues with the game I may pick it up again. But until then I'll be in WoT or many other MMO's I may try out in the future.
