Hey guys.
So, I am 37, played AD&D 2nd edition back in the day, plus some Battletech. I've been playing video games since the days of the Atari 2600 (tank war!). I've been online (and revcasy) since '95. My introduction to MMO's came in UO. I was there on launch day, though I didn't last long. It was like the wild west. I remember this guy gave me a bunch of equipment when he died, then I was running around exploring afterwards and I ran right into a group of red names for the first time. *shakes head* Anyway, I have also played EQ, Asheron's Call, WoW (of course), LotRo. I currently have a lowbie on AoC and Perpetuum, and I am waiting on SW:TOR, and maybe The Secret World. I also sometimes play FPS games (TF2 and L4D2) on steam, though to be honest I kinda suck at them. I also mess around with ARGs sometimes, and sporadically edit Wikipedia, if that is relevant. MMO's pretty much require guilds, but the drama get's old, so I am happy to find a group like this where people are older and more laid back, and I can maybe mention AC (for instance) and not have some kid ask what it stands for. I am in U.S. central timezone (GMT -6), though I mostly play during the day. Anyway, I hope to hear from you guys soon. -rev |
