Hello, TOG!

I'm living in the UK, and looking for a friendly bunch of folks to play with. I became interesting in joining after reading your FAQ - the part about "separating themselves from abusive, disruptive and disrespectful behaviour" strikes a good chord with me.

My current platforms of choice are PC and Xbox. On the Xbox front, I am a hard/expert mode Rockband player, I love the Assassins Creed series, Forza, and play way too many Xbox arcade games to list.

On the PC side of things, I'm a long time MMO player, haven't been involved with one for a while since my playing time has been too casual to justify a sub. But I've been dabbling with the F2P stuff (Forsaken World and Spiral Knights so far - open to suggestions! Planning on trying Runes of Magic and LOTRO some point soon too) and noticed that you folks have some guilds in that area. I also dabble with the Dawn of War series.

I also play FPS when my simulator sickness allows - Left 4 Dead, TF2, used to love BF2142 if there's still activity on that front, hopefully Space Marine when it comes out.

I'm looking for a relaxed environment where I can find some like minded friends to play with on a casual basis. But I'm also hoping to eventually settle down somewhere with a guild/team/division of like minded players and knuckle down into some proper team activities.

I'm hoping there are some European/UK players in my timezone about, but I play during a variety of hours (day and night as time allows), so I'm pretty sure I'll fit in somewhere.

My other interests include computer art, tabletop roleplaying, and wargames.

In the mean time if you're into MMO's come over and have a look at the TOG EVE division HERE. EVE is one of the largest and more complex MMO's out there.. After you have full TOG membership you can then apply for access to the TOG Power channel in EVE which will give you access to an in-game TOG chat channel and also to the EVE forums. You will also find the details for the Public TS channel we use. We're a happy bunch of guys and girls and love to laugh and fight.. online that is..

We're on TS most of the time and have a mentor program for new pilots to help them past the massive learning curve that is EVE. There is plenty of info and help, some of which is in these stickies HERE. We also have bunch of long time EVE players who are more than willing to answer any questions or to help with missions. So if you're sick of leveling up a character and want the next big MMO come check out EVE and the TOGE EVE Division.
