[DONE] Application for Full Membership

Hi all,

Thought I would give you a brief intro to myself. I have been playing PC based games since a mate bought a PC (AT) into work after a trip to the states (I think that was in the mid 80's). I had, of course, been hooked on the likes of Asteroids and Donkey Kong in the pubs but this was kinda different ... gaminng at home - wow!

Not long after I purchased an AMSTRAD 6128 which was a great machine (debatable) but not long for this world - I moved to an IBM XT with Hercules graphics when I commenced my first Uni Degree (Computer Engineering). Man, I played Space Quest for ever especially as I did not realise that the green shaded gravestone was actually a red post box and the round green thingys were berries(knew I should have gone CGA).

Fast track to now and here I am, almost 50, still playing games (mainly FPS) and find it a great way to keep in touch with my son, son-in-law and our group of friends. We formed a casual clan known as the Black Angels and I normally go by the tag of nemesis, which I have had since 1997 and occassionally have to add the "Oz_" on the front as I have here.

Why TOG? We collectively started to play on TOG servers (BF2, COD, BFBC2 etc,) and noticed that you guys (and gals) were really quite nice and accommodating to play with and we have decided to apply to join and broaden our horizons and hopefully bring something to TOG and, above all, have fun

I hail from the Nowra area (south of Wollongong NSW) and usually only get to play on Friday and Saturday nights, although will occassionally blow off steam any time I need to. Most played game ATM would be BFBC2 and am hanging out for BF3.

Hopefully, I haven't bored too many of you but I did want to introduce myself properly.
