[DONE] Introduction

G'day All,

My name is Josh D from NSW Australia...I'm just about to hit 35 in November so I'm a certified 'old man'. Have 2 kids (both girls so my gaming time is less than what it used to be, but i still hit the consoles whenever I can (or when the wife permits).

My first gaming system was my trusty old Intellivision from back in the 80's and I used to spends most waking hours playing Burger Time or Masters of the Universe on that bad boy...good times! I've gone through most consoles, everything from Sega Master Systems, Mega Drives, PSone and PS2. I also had the trusty tape-deck on my C64 to keep me busy should one of my consoles ate it.

Nowadays I have my XBOX 360 and PS3 to get me by (I've never been a Nintendo man) and play mot of the big titles when they hit the shelves.

I like my action games and games with a great story. LA Noire has been my hit of the year so far with out a doubt...I am in the process of trying to 5 star all cases which are still as great as the first time.

I've got my summer blockbuster pre-orders all ready to go...so there will definitely be some BF3, Assassins Creed and Uncharted multiplayer in my future. I've also pre-ordered that sweet R2-D2 360 console for the end of the year...nerd-gasm!

My last great multiplayer experience was Assassins Creed Brotherhood. That was a real novel way to bring multiplayer in and was very addictive.

I'm bringing myself to the Old Gamers for the reason that I'd like to participate in some great online gaming with some friendly faces (or voices) without the threat of a pimply teenager questioning my possession of testicles and how I use them.

So I hope you fine gentlemen (and ladies) will see fit to include me as a member of your fine gaming establishment.
