Good day one and all!

Just stumbled across this website, had a look around and liked what I saw.

I'm a 34 year old guy who loves gaming. Been gaming since the very beggining. Started out with one of those classic grandstand systems in the very early 1980's with 2 built in paddle controllers then had a vectrex. My first proper computer was my beloved Amstrad CPC 464. Colour monitor, built in tape deck, it was the business lol. Nevermind the spectrum and C64 wars my Amstrad was cool. Spent all my pocket money for the next few years on cassette games. I then moved on to the consoles and became a firm SEGA fan and went to the master system then megadrive, had a brief stint on another of my fave machines ever the commodore amiga before getting into the ps1. Then moved onto the dreamcast (my 2nd favourite console ever) before getting a ps2, gamecube and xbox.

Currently I'm into the xbox 360. Had a ps3 at launch but just found more if my mates had 360's and I prefered the exclusive games, the control pad and the interface of the 360.

This gen I've got right back into gaming and it's now my main hobby. The last 2 gens from ps1 to now I kinda drifted in and out due to me being in my 20's and wanting to be out drinking and chasing skirt all the time lol. Now I'm styled in my career I have a bit more free time as nights out aren't as spontaneous as they once were and need more planning due to commitments.

I like a bit of nostalgia and apart from my Amstrad and Amiga I still own all of my old consoles and games (most of the consoles have their original boxes) I like to look after stuff and hate to be parted with stuff.

My favourite game this gen and probably ever is Batman Arkham Asylum. Soooo looking forward to Arkham city. Next would be the mass effect games, the bioshock games, gears of war games, dead rising games, halo franchise and of course Battlefield: BC2. These are the pinnacle of my gaming experiences this gen but I've played many more games I've loved.

I too had a 464, though I added a 3" disk drive and several roms for machine code work as well!
