Well, let's see here. I have been gaming since I was about five, which would have been back in 1979. My first gaming system was an obscure system call a Fairchild. The one thing I remember most about it was that the controllers were really weird. Never seen anything quite like it. I have gamed on early PC's, Trash 80's, C64, NES, SNES, Genesis, N64, PS1 and 2, Xbox, and Xbox 360. I primarily shifted to PC games with a few minor deviations into console land about ten years ago, as it was cheaper and I like PC games better.

As far as Pen and Paper games I have played, well, heck, every kid back in the day played DnD. Then we got caught up in Top Secret. Don't currently play, but I do love the DnD RPG's from BioWare.

I am really interested in getting into the KoTOR guild, not sure which side though I was leaning towards Sith and BH/Sith Lightining Slinger, but they seem like they will be dime a dozen for numbers, so Republic Smuggler is a close second. I might look at the WoW guild, but I do believe that my time remaining in WoW is short, due to the pending release of KoTOR. I said many years ago that the only thing that would pull me away from a Blizzard MMO was a BioWare MMO. My first MMO was the ill fated and soon to be put to rest SWG, and then WoW. I might have an interest in FPS, but I have never tried them as to the level of immaturity/idiocy that is generally associated with them. With a group of mature gamers, I might be willing to give it a shot.

I was navy for ten years, submarine fleet. That is how I ended up in Hawaii, and here I stay. Looking to start burning my GI Bill and go back to school. I love games, it is my passion, it is what I do. Some cats out here surf, I game.

I am looking to join TOG, and I may have follow on members that I have gamed with in WoW for the last four years. We were in a great casual hardcore guild called NightWatch, and raided everything up until the Black Temple during Burning Crusade. This to this day remains my favorite WoW memories, raiding with these cats during that time frame. We have tried to recapture it, but have not seemed to manage it. NightWatch exploded due to internal drama and some members wanting to be more hardcore than what we were at the time. They broke off, and the guild withered and died. The previously mentioned folks transferred to another guild on Trollbane, Fallen Tears, which had gone through exactly the same thing that NightWatch had just gone through, so we found a new home. WoTLK came and went, and we were well into Cata when the officers decided, at least IMHO, to merge with another guild against the wishes of most of the members of Fallen Tears. The level of maturity in Reso leaves something to be desired, as does the level of respect. That is what I am hoping that I/we can find here.

Well, thanks for the consideration, and sorry if it is too long, but I am a bit longwinded.
