Hello! My name is Paul, middle name being Otto, and most of my game names have been some variant spelling of Otto. I'm 32, and i live in Iowa, USA. I just recently moved here from Minnesota, where i've lived up until now.

* i am currently playing Rift, and have noticed the Older Gamers guild around my server(wolfsbane), and the guild name just sorta caught my attention, as i am an older gamer, so i found the website to look into it. Now that i've read and explored around, i wish i found this place years ago!
* the first system i played was atari 2600, altho i was fairly young at the time, and it was more my family's system(my older brother, mostly). But ever since the NES days, i have been a pretty heavy gamer, and i have owned nearly every major console from then on, including weird ones like 3DO, Atari Jaguar, Nintendo Virtual Boy, Turbografix.
* the primary genre's of games i've always enjoyed are RPG's, of nearly any type. action RPG, turn based RPG, strategy RPG, and for the past 13 or 14 years, mostly MMORPGS. i love the Final Fantasy Series, Breath of Fire, Elder Scrolls, Diablo's, Baldurs Gate.
* As far as MMO's go, i started with Ultima Online for about a year, then moved over to EQ just before the first xpac, Kunark, released. i played EQ for a solid 5 or 6 years, and then moved on to WoW, which i played for another 6 years, until Rift. I also tried out just about every major MMO that came out between EQ1 and WoW... Asherons Call, Dark Age of Camelot, Anarchy Online(i loved that games potential), SWG, FFXI(was kinda dissapointed with that one, being such a huge FF fan).
* I was also hugely into fighting games in my teen years, specifically Street Fighter 2, altho i played most of those mid-90's fighting game franchises. I also enjoy the occasional RTS or FPS.

um... a bit more about me... as I said above, I'm 32, I'm in a long term committed relationship, I work full time in a hospital laboratory. I just recently moved from Minneapolis Minnesota to Ames Iowa, as my significant other started grad school here this semester.
