Hello TOG.
I'm a 28 year old man that wishes to join your community.
I have looked at your webpage in the past, but as I had not turned 25 yet, it was put aside for a good while, since at the time I was only playing WoW.
Now I've gone back to my 'roots' so to speak, and I'm more interested in trying out and playing different games - both on the PC and on Xbox.
I started out with a C64, moved on to Nintendo, then back to C64 again, before computers and football manager sims took over for many years.
I mostly stuck with PC games, though I had an original Xbox, and bought the 360 as soon as it came out, but never spent too much time on them.
WoW's been taking 6 years of my time, but it's drawing towards an end now. I've 'quit' before, but always come back due to various reasons - mostly that I've actually enjoyed the game. The community however, less so.
In between I've also tried out CoH, LotRO (still active, sort of - Lifetime sub) and Rift. My Rift account is apparently still active, even though I've not paid anything since I bought the game... but oh well. I never play, so it's not like I'm robbing them of money anyway.
Nowadays I'm mostly playing BF:BC2, but I dabble in quite a lot since I no longer like being stuck to one place. Trying hard to start up with Mass Effect on the 360 as well, but after I bought it earlier this year, I stopped in the middle of a mission, and I'm finding it hard to get into again, so I'll be restarting the whole thing soon.
I've preordered BF3 and SW:TOR, both of which I'll be playing quite heavily, I think. At least until The Secret World is out.
My home's in Norway, on the southern end (though you wouldn't believe it since we've had the worst rainfall in 50 years). I'm married to an English woman, whom I met online - in WoW. I moved there first, and then we moved back here to Norway last year.
I also have a 3 year old son.
I describe myself as a very casual gamer. I play only for fun nowadays, and I doubt that'll ever change. A lot of the fun in gaming is ruined by bad communities and players, in my eyes. Whenever I join a random BC2 server that I don't know, I seem to run into a lot of chatter about 'noobs' and 'omg lol u sux', which ends my gaming sessions quite quickly. Though I'm mostly on servers from battlefield.no which generally speaking doesn't have that going.
My social circles is also very short on gamers, which is why I'm after a decent place where it's possible to discuss gaming, and find people to play with.
Other games than Facebook games, that is.
Also, I can sometimes write a lot when I don't really mean to.
Oh, and my gamertag is mostly xenoph. Sometimes siaran.
