Default Greetings from Cuz

Hi there, my name is Ryan Smith but most friends simply refer to me as Cuz, hence it being my game/forum handle (when available).

I started programming computers in 1982 when I was roughly 11 years old, somehow computers and I just clicked (if you could pardon the pun) and after my first bout of playing DOS-based Space Invaders on a CGA monitor I was hooked for life as a gamer. After school I studied Engineering and kept on with Computer sciences to end me up in my current work where I spend a whole lot of time figuring out what is the most efficient way for some factory thing to work and then making some computer communicate with some machine and get the job done - a job I love to bits (and would indeed even do it for free if need be!). The downside is my game time is a tad limited, but I still squeeze in at least 10 hours a week gaming.

I'm from South Africa (European timezone-ish) and work/play mostly at night which puts me in the gaming timezone of early-evening central US time. I play almost all games known to man (when I have time for them) and currently busy playing World of Tanks (which is where I saw the TOG thing on some fan art on their forum) and decided this seems like the kind of crowd I'd enjoy gaming with.

I'm also an avid builder of hardware and systems and simply love all of it. Here is a view of my current main system used for both working and gaming:

(Not sure if it will allow me to post links - in case it did not work, the links are below with some tomfoolery to abfuscate the parser - Im sure anyone on this forum can reconstruct the valid links)

Anyway, that's quite enough from me. Please treat me like a n00b and have a lovely day all.
Thank you kindly
Cuz
