Default Hello to All at TOG, my introduction

Well I found TOG through the Star Wars The Old Republic Forums and Guild lists. I was very curious because I had stopped multiplayer gaming a couple of years ago because of the poor behavior I witnessed in games and a general lack of consideration for others that eventually drove me into my garage to focus on other hobbies. I am a little excited to find a group of people who seem to share the same principles of mutual respect that I found was lacking in the guilds, squads and teams that I have been a part of in the past. I hope that you accept me and I can be a helpful member in TOG.

My Gaming History:

Well I am a child of the 70's so we all played board games and pinball before there was Atari 2600, Intellivision or Colecovision. When the consoles came out, it really changed how I looked at interaction with machines. This sparked my interest and led to a dabbling in game creation with my Commodore64. I have had many consoles and PC's throughout the years. I honestly do not remember a time that I didn't own some type of gaming platform. I have many fond memories of playing Tecmo Bowl or Punch Out with my buddies all the way up to all nighters playing Delta Force or BF1942. After marriage and kids things slowed a bit and for good reason. There is a balance that is healthy and I intend to keep it that way.

Presently, I play mostly story driven games like Mass Effect but I am very much looking forward to the Star Wars The Old Republic launch. I played Star Wars Galaxies from launch until I couldn't stomach all the bugs, enhancements and upgrades that the devs unleashed. Its too bad, because that was a very engaging MMO. Some wives would say it was a bit too engaging, "right hun?", he he. Well other than gaming I enjoy bike riding with my family, working on my 1971 Datsun 240Z, or piloting my RC vehicles.
