Hi,
I'm Tony, am 46 years old and have been playing Eve Online now for about 7 months. Tried a couple of corporations but always seem to end up with young kids who just want to rule the universe in 5 minutes and have not yet grasped the fact that the most important skill to learn is patience... and that's not something that they are going to get from a computer game
1st computer game I saw that really made me want to play games was Bell & Braben's Elite on the BBC B in 1986ish (not sure of year, but around then, maybe earlier!) Bought myself one of those and have progressed from there playing all sorts of games through the BBC B, Commodore 64, Atari ST, Commodore Amiga then a whole range of self built PC''s from my 1st 286 to my current i5 setup.
Only MMO I've ever played is Eve Online. 1st tried it in 2004 and didn't think much of it - was still playing a lot of Q3 at that point. Came back and tried Eve again at the start of this year and am now completely hooked on it! Looking for a corp now that will have the maturity to know what it wants out of the game and a good bunch of people to have a bit of a laugh with and not get too hung up on the in-game politics.
