[DONE] TOG Applicant

Hello all!

I think I should start by telling you the story behind my handle, as it will not only explain why I go by crackyhoss, but also give you some of my gaming background...

It started back in Jr. High for me, when Starcraft was just coming out. I had played it over at my friend's house, and I loved it! Problem was, I had no email account, or any other kind of account online, so when bnet asked for a username, I was flabbergasted. At the time, my friend and I were reading The Moccasin Trail in English class. The characters always referred to each other as "hoss", and one of the characters always said, "By cracky, Jim!" Anything else about the book I couldn't tell you. All I can say is that bnet already had a "hoss", so ever since I've been 'crackyhoss' in all of my online endeavors.

I've been gaming for much longer than that, though. Some of my earliest memories are watching my dad play The Prince of Persia or Avoid the Noid in Germany... those were awesome games! Now I find myself playing TF2 and various strategy games (huge fan of Empire: Totaly War and Civilization V).

As to the first machine I played on, I couldn't tell you... All I know is that in order to play Starcraft, I had to install a new graphics card. I'd be surprised if it was 16mb lol.


My reasoning for checking out and joining TOR is simple: I want a mature, fun community to enjoy SW:TOR with. I'm currently in beta, and without breaking the NDA, all I can say is that I'm actively looking for a guild that will be playing TOR, as I foresee myself playing TOR almost exclusively. I'm leaning towards an RP-PVP server, but the RP isn't as important. I've never played RP before, but.... well, not gonna break the NDA, so I'll just leave it at that.

Anyway, I think I've written more than usual, and thanks for reading / considering me for membership. I'd love to get to know the community a bit more before signing on fully, especially the part of the TOG community that is planning on playing TOR. TOGTOR FTW.
