Hello, toasterpastries here.
I'm not necessarily seeking full membership into TOG at this time, just seeking some more mature folks for casual gaming. I may be wanting to compete at some later point but for right now I don't have the time to commit.

I'm 26, from Salt Lake City, UT, and no, I'm not Mormon. It's just a nice place to live.

I started out with Atari, NES and DOS games, and still have a decent Atari 2600 and NES collection for retro fun.

Nowadays I'm a dedicated PC gamer, my main game for the last couple years has been Mechwarrior: Living Legends, a Mechwarrior mod built on Crysis Wars.
I also play CS:S, BFBC2 (BF3 when it's out), TF2, L4D2, Shattered Horizon, Minecraft (I have a server and am looking for players), Dawn Of War II, Black Prophecy, Trackmania and more. Mostly FPS, sim and racing games, not so much RTS or RPGs.

I looked into TOG because I'm looking for more people to game casually with, and the only other community I'm involved with (MWLL) is based around one game. It's gotten a bit boring so I'm looking for somewhere to game where I can stay away from kids, power gamers and clan drama. I like cooperative, fun, sportsmanlike gaming, and I'm hoping to find some of that here.

If Full membership is not what you are looking for, there is not much i can do to help you .
TOG is a VERY big place, we cater for Gamers from all play styles and backgrounds. You may find that there is a home for you here, you don't HAVE to be competitive to be a Full member of TOG.

I'll leave this application open for a couple of days in case you wish to re consider

I see, I misunderstood. I was under the impression that a full membership implied being a competitive player, expected to show up for practice and matches and such.

If that is not the case, then I would like full membership.
