Hi fellow gamers.

I am Dok, or Duck depending on how long you've known me

I started playing around with "PC's" back in the Commodore 64 days.
My first "IBM Compatible" was bought back in 1995 with Windows 3.1 and 8mb ram. A few months later, Ram prices halved and Windows 95 came out and I've been stuck on the treadmill ever since

I didn't start playing online games until very much later as I was on 33.6k until late 2005. My first games were the "free" MMOs.. Anarchy online and Silkroad Online.

I first bought a "paid for" MMO being Guild wars. I played this game for over 3 years. As a member and Officer of Morporkian Mercenaries [MM]. I have recently started playing this again in preparation for GW2.

I went from GW to LOTRO. I played LOTRO since beta firstly in Aurora Australis, then breaking away with a group of raiding friends to form Gwaith i Har. We finished everything that LOTRO had to offer, on two main character and 6 alts , Bored with LOTRO, we moved to RIFT, and for 6 months successfully raided most of the endgame content. But due to bordem I didnt re-sub.

Since then I have played the BF3 beta, SWTOR Beta and spent most of my time in GW.

Throughout my gaming I have interlaced the MMO addiction, playing CSS, Blackhawk down, and Battlefield 2.

So with a change in the air in gaming, with BF3 this week, SWTOR for xmas and GW2 next yeaer, I am looking for a change of kin. Im looking for a new home.

Personally Im on the PC a lot. Im looking for a diverse group of players where we can kick back and relax across mulitple games. I don't like playing solo, so no matter the game, I will and do prefer to have fellow gamers to play with, chat on the forums with and talk on VC (voice coms - Vent and Teamspeak are what I have used in the past)

oh, and admin wise, I still administer the GiH forums, but and slowly passing that to others.
