Hello folks,

So this is an introductory post. I can't promise it will be good because I am pretty bad at converting thoughts to words but HERE GOES! I'm a 30 year old dude from WA, I'm a crazy minecraft addict, but I do stray into many other games as well. I tend to play casually, as I can't always make events due to family, work, and so forth, but i still love playing with other folks.

Oh yes, the Q&A section. Okay let's do this:


1. What games are you currently play/looking to play with TOG?
Well as stated, I'm a minecraft addict. That's maybe not a REAL game to some, I don't know, but I run a server that anyone is welcome to join. This is not an advertiment post though, so moving on.
I grabbed Battlefield 3 when it came out, being a huge fan of previous titles in the series, and a mate of mine recommended you folks as being a pretty great group of players. Figured it would be nice to play with others rather than playing the lone wolf, especially since I suck and rely on others to pull me through (no pressure) :P

2. What was the first machine you played games on or pen and paper game you played?
First game I remember playing was an arcade version of Bubble Bobble and Double Dragon. I moved on to various other arcade games before my folks got an Atari - the type with a floppy drive and monitor, not the classic 2600. We never had a console until I bought a N64 in my teens, but by then I had a Mac and a PC that I was playing everything from micro machines to Wolf3D and Duke3D on.

3. Why do you want to join TOG?
Well, it's always more fun playing with others than on your own, and from what I've heard of the group, you seem to be a good bunch of folks. Figured it couldn't hurt to find out first hand =)

4. Tell us about yourself or anything else you'd like to share.
Well, I've mentioned most of it already I think. I use a Dvorak keyboard, but that doesn't really affect gameplay. It does make for some interesting looking keyboard mashes and spelling mistakes. (eg rather than asdf it's aoeu, and I mix up M & W, and K & X a lot.). It also drives other people nuts, so it's a good deterrent for people using my stuff :P.

I'm a pretty nerdy guy, I run in social circles (bookface, twitter, G+), and I have a bunch of stuff on Steam that I hardly touch except for at LANs. I'm pretty open though, so by all means, if you have questions for me, ask away!
