Hi,

I'm a gamer from long ago, but I'm looking to join TOG to play BF3 (and hey, and of the previous BFs, mainly 2142.)

Wow, first game/machine... That would be a tossup between asteroids on an Atari, Defender of the Crown on C64, Hoards of the Deep Realm on my beloved Microbee (both the "chook in a book" and whopping 128K models!), and god knows what on the TRS-80 or rubber-keyed thing once sold at Tandy (ZX81 I think, but I remember it being yellow, not black; I distinctly remember the rubber keys)

I want to join TOG because I just seem to get creamed playing with randoms. Either they're hacking, have 15 vid cards in SLI, or are born with freakish reflexes (and I reckon mine are pretty damn good). Upon discovering TOG, it seems to be exactly what I want - mature people who get the idea of team play, but have lives and don't play 20 hours a day.

It seems to be a friendly, good group that may help me get better too then hopefully I can contribute.
