Games I play: I am currently playing World of Warcraft and have applied to the in-game guild: Titans of Gore. I also play some console stuff. Mostly racing simulations and the occasional FPS.

What was the first machine you played games on or pen and paper game you played? I played a lot of D&D-style games as a kid. We didn't have enough money for the books and other required items, so we made up our own maps, characters, stats, and spells/abilities. I think we had WAY more fun making stuff up than we had actually playing the games. Also, I had a Colecovision system, and an original Nintendo...NES Play Action Football kept me up late into the night hovering over my 13" b/w TV.

Why do you want to join TOG? It seemed like a good fit...casual, mature, fun. That's pretty much all I need. I don't want a guild that has a silly name or a bad reputation, and I don't want a guild that's going to collapse in 3 months because of raiding-drama. I've been in hard-core raiding guilds who were at the top of the game-content, and I've done well within them. But at the end of the day, the people I know in-guild are not going to create more stress for me in my real life endeavors...so I try to avoid that type of influence.

About me: I'm 34, live in South Dakota, and am a professional insurance agent. I play only occasionally, but would like to interact with a group of people who have fun and enjoys good conversation. I'm an avid snowboarder and am looking into teaching snowboarding this year. I will raid any content the guild wants to raid, but I'm not willing to commit to a schedule for it. I find that I have too much going on in real life to do something like that.
