Talking TOG Application

Hello!

I would like to become a full member and am looking (for now) to be a part of your Guild Wars group.

I've been gaming since time began, well almost!

I guess it all started with drawing war scenes on paper in class like warships on the sea then putting it on the floor near my desk and dropping my pencil on it, where ever it landed I'd draw a small explosion. I guess the guy who came up with Battleship must have done the same thing.

There were the pinball machines and the host of quarter hungry games at the local mall game room. Then came the Atari 2600, NES, Super NES, N64, Xbox (which I just had to mod) and a PS3.

Sometime around 1983 I built a IBM clone and added computer gaming to the list beginning with a text based game called Zork. Maybe some of you recall getting EGA based games on 360k 5.25 floppy disks like Might & Magic. And with small children at that time convincing the wife that Reader Rabbit was "necessary" was easy!

Anyway, I've played a lot of games in my day. First MMO was Warcraft which some IRC chat buddies turned me onto back when it was in beta. I've played that up until this latest planned expansion when I decided it was time for a change.

I'd like to join TOG to be with people that not only enjoy gaming but are closer to my age, at least in maturity. Too many kiddo guilds these days specially in WoW.

Personal stats: 51, Married, 2 children, 2 grandchildren. I enjoy spending time with the grand kids, riding my Harley, shooting & collecting firearms, and gaming. Anything you want to know, just ask.

Thanks for the opportunity to join!
