Hi all,

I'm applying for membership as I haven't been part of a gaming community for a year or two now, I used to play FPS games very frequently with some online friends I met a while back and it seems that since we all parted company a few of them have found their way to you. Since the release of BF3 we have managed to meet up again and I feel it would be nice to be part of an online community again. You guys seem the obvious choice having heard some good things about you and knowing a few of your existing members.
(You'll have to bear with me because I don't know if their clan names are the same as the names they use in BF3 when I play with them but two of the guys are Reidzzer and OPT1MU5, I can always find out if they are not the correct names, they are just not online as I write this.)

I'm 35, live in the UK, married, no kids yet but one should be popping out about April time if all goes well.

I would say I have played my fair share of FPS, MMOs, sims, and just about anything else, been a guild leader here, a mere follower there etc, but always end up enjoying the social aspect of many games, making new friends, and I guess I miss that part now that I have been gaming on my own for a while.

First PC was actually an old IBM 5155, my father used to work for IBM and was given one for work so obviously I was fascinated with it and started gaming from there. Good old asteroids and a few others on 5 1/4" disks, can't beat the retro feel, hunched over, squinting at a 3" yellow and black screen... So what do I play now? We just about anything but my recent time sinks have to be (in no particular order);

BF 3 / Play4Free / Heroes
Rift (has kind of replaced WoW after many years)
Metro 2033 - One of those easily missed wonders, what an awesome story.
Deus Ex Human Revolution
Mass Effect 2
Red Faction Armageddon / Guerilla
Portal 2
Modern Warfare 2 (until BF3 popped out)
Eve - for many years but not so much recently
I Still play good old CIV 5 but only offline really

Can't think of anything else to add that might be interesting, but I'm sure that's enough for now. Anything else you want to know just ask. Hope to see you guys in game soon.

oh and p.s. the nickname comes from a friends 2yr old who says he has a "bad bonk" when he falls over. Seeing as I do that rather alot in FPS games I thought it rather apt and it stuck.
