Default Introduction of Phatjam

Hello everyone.

My name is Travis... Phatjam is what I use for pretty much everything online and in game though. I'm 32yo married, no kids and live in Las Vegas, NV. I am working as a Web Master and IT Admin for a tiny and very crappy online tool store, however very soon I will be starting up my own business with an artist friend of mine to do freelance web work.(why wait for the artist you say? Cause I am a terrible designer LOL I'm a code guy .NET C# MVC etc.)

I've played games my whole life. I started off playing my grandma's Atari, Pacman, Joust etc. Well before that my dad would take me out ever thursday night and we would go to the arcade to play. I got my first system, Intelivision when I was 7 or 8. When we moved to England our family got a NES Power Pack(included the gun and the Power Pad). I worked a paper route and babysitting jobs to buy myself the Sega Genesis, stole a SegaCD from the Base Exchange, and when I worked at Dragonstone Software(making Dragons Lair 3D) got a coworker to buy me the Dreamcast. Traded that in for an Xbox and now I'm on to 360. And I've always been a PC gamer(Carmen Sandiego, Syndicate, HL, CS, Baulders Gate etc.)

My online history of gaming has of course been FPS like Counter Strike and Quake as well as MMO's like Star Wars Galaxies, PlanetSide, WoW, Tabula Rasa etc.

I am currently getting geared up to play SW: The Old Republic. I've spend one weekend Beta Testing and am about to start again today. So I am looking to get in with TOG to get into a guild in SWTOR from the jump. One of my biggest negatives about WoW was that I never got into a guild early enough to really be a part of one. Played from 2005-2011 but never could get established. Even ran my own guilds that would fizzle out after toons would get leveled.

So, TOG sounds great for someone like me. Wont have to deal with childish arguing or kids that don't know what it means to be an adult. And clearly those that play here are dedicated gamers when they are able to play.

I look forward to gaming with yall.
