TOG Application

OK, hoping I get most or all of the criteria covered, so here goes...

My name's Danny, gamer name " PantsofDeth ", 40 years old from Coburg, Melbourne, Victoria. I work currently as Support Manager for an successful online business based in Collingwood, Melbourne.

I'm here on TOG, as well, I'm old ( kinda!) , and I love gaming. I've been playing any and all forms of electronic entertainment since I reckon I was about 6 - can still remember some of the old black and white CRT driving and gunfighting games in the old dingy pinball parlours back in my hometown of Ballarat back in the late 70's. Lots of early gaming memories...plenty of 20 cent pieces pumped into arcade machines, the old Nintendo Game & Watch handhelds, mucking around with tape drives on my old Commodore 64, through to my first PC in the early 90's ( 386 with 1 meg of RAM! ), which I bought just to play the Star Wars X-Wing games.

Which brings me to today. I'm an avid PC gamer, who builds his own PC's ( I do have a PS3 but rarely used for gaming ). I'm a fan of FPS and RTS games, with the occasional dabbling into MMO's. I game for at least one hour every night, and currently right into BF3 - one reason I wanted to join up to TOS is to meet up with some folk keen to squad up on BF3 ( currently in 2 BF3 platoons, Objective: Alpha and Good Game TV Alpha - find it hard to organise games with either platoon ).
Also just did some beta testing on SW:TOR, so keen to join up with a guild, should I start playing. It'd be also be great just to meet some gamers around my age group, too.

Hopefully that covers it, look forward to joining the happy TOG group!
