TOG - The Older Gamers

Hey fellow older timers!
I've been playing games for a long, long time (in a galaxy far, far away). Starting with something called an Atari and then on just about every single console ever made (yeah, even the Dreamcast, remember that one?).

Now I find myself virtually addicted to the world of MMORPGs. I got into WoW sometime after vanilla, in the middle of BC. After Cataclysm, there was a big Rift and I fell through it. I left Azeroth and found myself in a strange land called Telara. And as I stand here looking up into the sky, waiting for the next tear to open, I see flashing lights shooting back and forth across the sky, as if the Stars were in a War... I feel some strange Force growing within me.

I realize that there are many adventures ahead, both on strange worlds and in distant galaxies. While the youth of the universe hold the promises of the future, it is the older and wiser who must lead us there today. We have the lessons of the past to guide us. Our experience is a secret weapon. And collectively, we are a formidable force.

I cannot travel these magical and dangerous roads alone. I must find like-minded and age-hardened companions to journey with. I have heard rumors of wise soldiers who have established footholds all across these planes. They have fought and served side by side and tales have been told of their great victories and enduring adventures. I have heard they are called The Older Gamers. And from somewhere within, a voice tells me that this is where I belong.
