Application
Greetings and Salutations,
I have seen many of the ToG running around, and I decided that being guilded may be a good thing - so I looked around, and after PvP'ing with a few members I thought this may be a good group to get into. So....now with the long and boring part (aka - a little about me)...
1. Games that I am playing / looking to play.
Well that is easy, first Rift. It has my attention for now, but I am not shy about the fact that as soon as SWTOR comes out...I'm jumping ship. I hope to be apart of ToG there as well, it would be cool to start off with the guild from release (yah...I have pre-ordered it already...I did it 5 minutes after the pre-release announcement went out).
2. What was my first machine that I played games on or first pen and paper...
Wow, talk about going back. I think, if I remember correctly I played games on my Commodore 64. It's also where i got my first taste of programming, and I hated it (I tried to do this Alfred E Newman picture from MAD magazine...it was horrible...ever since then, I have been scarred when it comes to coding). After that, I got a Atari 2600 - I was a defender champion. As far as pen and paper...yah, I played D&D, AD&D and several others....(even the TMNT RPG).
3. Why do I want to join ToG?
Well it would be nice to be around grown folk...I figure there is less of a chance of hearing the phrase "u mad bro.." God I hate the phrase. I just absolutely hate it, seriously if I could jump through the computer and strangle the people who say it.....umm...yaaaah, you get the point. Anyway, also, I think the racist BS that I hear come from younger players is also less likely - and that's a good thing. Lastly, I like ToG's presence in multiple games. So if ToG does jump to SWTOR, I don't have to go searching for another guild and fill out another one of these applications....
4. About me...
Well I'm a 16 year old kid stuck in the body of an aged and decrepit man. Typical old guy stuff, I'm married...2 boys (7 & 4 ), house...dog...all that good stuff. By day, I masquerade as a Systems / Network Admin. Not necessarily the most fun, but it pays the bills and gives me money to buy games.
I am pretty much the standard casual gamer. Back when WoW first came out, I was pretty hard core...but then realized that having to explain to a 15 year old, why I went to dinner with my family after work - instead of raiding - is not my deal. Anyway, now I may play a few nights a week (some weeks more than others, as my schedule can get pretty hectic) but I am always on during the weekends. Especially now that it's getting cold and I'm not one that's big on going outside when it's cold...MN winters are brutal.
SOO, that's about it. I am usually on in game (rift) as either Enbari, or Raaliz. MSG me if you have any questions or want to chat. I'm on the Wolfsbane server...
